Shut the polluting RMC plants of Deonar.
In her very first speech, she sought the closure of ready-mix concrete plants in Deonar that she said violated Maharashtra Pollution Control Board norms, stood less than 100 metres from homes and affected more than 50,000 residents of Govandi East. Within days, the BMC ordered the JSW plant shut and served a compliance notice on Relcon.
